We currently have only a few board members for 2021. More active parents are needed to cover all of the responsibilities and jobs necessary for a high school football season. We desperately need you to join us. We have already begun preparations for the 2021 football season – so, jump on board, you will love it! There are both small and large jobs to fill.

 

We need your help! The WLC Football Boosters run throughout the year, not just during the season. Please consider getting involved by contacting us.

 

Why the WLC Football Boosters are so important:

The WLC Football Boosters assist with financial and additional support to the football student athletes, grades 9-12. We are a non-profit organization, organized for the purpose of providing above and beyond what the school district contributes. Parent involvement is essential for the program.  

 

The Boosters provide:

• Bussing HOME from games (the school district only provides bussing to games)

• Uniforms (yes, the boosters provide your son’s uniform, not the school)

• Supplemental athletic equipment

• Technology

• Meals (your boys are fed before each game)

• Awards and coaches gifts

• Field enhancement such as kicking nets and tackling dummies

• Banquets

• Various other items

 

In an effort to facilitate the above, the Boosters organize fundraisers and special events throughout the year. 

 

The key components to our success is booster board volunteer participation, sponsorship (personal and business support) and continued parental involvement.

 

In addition to the seasonal boosters board positions, the football program requires game-day volunteers. Both are imperative to keep our program running.

 

We welcome and encourage anyone interested in supporting our program to join our monthly meetings.
