REGISTRATION info

Interested in playing as a Viking in 2026? Here's what you need to know:

Registration: 

  • Thursday, May 14, 2026 - 6pm-8pm - WLC cafeteria

    • 6pm - Freshman

    • 7pm - all others

  • Wear shirt & tie for scoreboard photos

  • Complete the following BEFORE attending in person registration

    • Complete Google Form for general info

      • contact info, parent/guardian info, insurance info​

    • Sign up on Blast​

    • Sign up on Big Teams - on hold - SEE UPDATE BELOW​

    • Sign up for 4 Support Shifts via SignUp link

Blast:

  • Create an account on Blast

    • Download the app for easy communication notifications​

  • Used by coaching staff, boosters, team

  • For communications, schedule, fundraising

  • Enter in fundraising contacts (need 20)

  • Complete profile, including sizing (used for practice shirts & special events)

Event Link - NEW 2026:

  • Physicals need to be completed AFTER April 14, 2026 in order to be used for the fall 2026 season. 

  • Create an Account: Click here to register with WLC 

  • Select "Athletic Registration" and complete two required items:

    • 2026–2027 MHSAA Physical Form: Upload both sides of your student’s physical.

    • 2026–2027 WLCSD Athlete Registration: Complete required agreements (concussion protocols, sportsmanship, etc.).

  • Note on Fees: Submitting your registration on Eventlink is FREE!

    • Ignore any "purchase" prompts at checkout on Eventlink

    • Pay-to-participate fees will still be collected separately through Skyward e-Funds. (see below under Fees)

Fees:

  • Pay To Play = $255

  • Registration Fee = $200​

    • Payable to boosters at time of registration

  • Fundraising = $200/player

    • Three ways to raise funds​

      • Blast fundraising ​

      • Obtaining a Sponsor to support WLC Football

      • Pay $200 fundraising opt out at 5/14 registration

      • NEW 2026 - Bottle Drive - see Blast for info

  • Equipment Deposit = $100

    • Payable to boosters at time of registration​

    • ​Held until equipment returned at end of season in appropriate condition​

  • Program Support Deposit = $200​

    • Payable to Boosters at time of registration​

    • Held until family completes four shifts worth of volunteer support shifts​

      • Home game shifts and year long shifts available!​

      • Sign up for shifts on SignUp link

When deposits clear and fundraising fees are raised, cost per player is approximately $455 for the season. (WLCSD family cap for Pay to Play is $510)

  • WLC Combine - June 3 @ 3pm

  • Summer Camp #1 - June 15, 16, 17 @ 5:30-9pm

  • 7 on 7s - Various Dates in June & July

  • Summer Camp #2 - July 27, 29, 30 @ 5:30-9pm

  • Practice Starts - August 10. 2026 @ 3pm-9pm - Mon thru Fri unless noted

  • Viking Invasion - August 15, 2026 @ 9am-1pm

  • Scrimmage at Brandon HS - August 20, 2026

  • First games - Week of August, 27 & 28
